Lori Harris opened Salt Creek Butterfly Farm in 2010 to provide one-of-a-kind nature experiences to the Chicagoland region. It’s educational signature programs are the Butterfly Handfeeding Tent, the Monarch Migration Tagging Days, and native butterfly releases, all of which build community and strengthen relationships.
It’s Summer Nature Clubs are a way to involve the whole family in a slow-paced, engaging educational activity where lifelong memories are made.
Hours & Location
The Butterfly Farm is not open to the public. Nature club participants meet at our Western Springs location for kit pickups and for bee club dates. The butterfly Handfeeding Tent, Monarch Migration Tagging Days and butterfly releases are held at your facility.
