Ordering bees

Its early February and we’re thinking about Springtime. It’s time to place an order for the 2025 honeybees. We have a pretty good sense of which of our hives are surviving the winter and which are empty. This year, we are ordering 45 lbs. of honeybees. Our new honey bees are currently pollenating almond farms in California. Once that season ends they travel by semi truck across the Unites States to join apiaries all over the country.
